The start of a new year brings energy and excitement! Inevitably it also brings snowy weather, more time indoors, and colds. The Teacher Store wants to help you and your students stay healthy and combat those “winter blues” while at school! If you are a K-12 educator, school counselor, or health professional in a public or parochial school, you are invited to take part in this event!

Come to our Winter Wellness Express on the morning of Saturday, January 27 in the lobby of the Linn Area Credit Union branch in NE Cedar Rapids! You will receive one bag filled with wellness supplies for your classroom or school office. Supplies include items such as disinfecting wipes, facial tissues, and hand sanitizer. You do not need to bring any Teacher Bucks, as the bags of supplies are FREE, and the rest of the Teacher Store school supply inventory will be packed away. It will be a “chill” express event. Linn Area Credit Union will be providing some refreshments and have a table set up so you can learn about their current educator promotion.

This is a private event, so you must pre-register to attend by choosing one of the six time slots (9:00-9:30am, 9:30-10:00am, 10:00-10:30am, 10:30-11:00am, 11:00-11:30am, and 11:30am-12:00pm) using the Eventbrite link. Please plan to attend only during your reserved time slot and bring your educator badge to check-in. There are a limited number of tickets available, and unfortunately there will not be supplies for extra attendees, so please plan accordingly.

As mentioned above, the event will be held in the lobby of the Linn Area Credit Union branch in NE Cedar Rapids (3015 Blairs Ferry Rd). Business will be taking place as usual, so we ask that you not arrive before 9:00am as the doors will be locked. We look forward to seeing you!
