Teacher Store Sponsorship Opportunities

Local educators consistently spend their own money to supply basic and necessary school supplies for their students who would otherwise go without. According to The National Education Association, over 90% of teachers nationwide spend their own money on classroom supplies without reimbursement. It was estimated for the 2022-2023 school year, teachers would spend an average of $820 out of pocket. This is where the Teacher Store comes in to help fill that gap.

Supplies provided by the Teacher Store include, but are not limited to, pencils, paper, books, calculators, personal hygiene products, and cleaning supplies. To provide these needed supplies, the Teacher Store relies on the generosity of local businesses and individuals, like you, for donations. Below are sponsorship opportunities for general donation levels and exclusive special events for your review. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.

Exclusive Special Event Sponsorships

We have several large events throughout the year and we are looking for business partners to sponsor these events. These events are heavily attended by 100+ educators and are a great way to showcase how your business supports educators and our community!

$3,000 Professional Promoter

Our Professional Promoter sponsors support the large events the Teacher Store typically holds each year. With this sponsorship, you receive:

  • Your company logo on a traveling banner displayed at events and school visits
  • The opportunity to have a booth set up during the event to promote your company
  • The opportunity to provide shopping bags and swag with your company logo for event attendees
  • Sponsorship recognition in one edition of the Teacher Store’s quarterly newsletter
  • Social media post recognizing your sponsorship for the event
  • Your company logo displayed on the Teacher Store website

Our current large events are:

January/February: Flu Fighter – Every winter, students are absent due to the flu and similar illnesses. To help educators and students prevent the spread of viruses and germs, this event provides free flu-fighting supplies to school nurses, guidance counselors, and educators. The event sponsor will help us determine the location for distribution. More than 150 classrooms and thousands of students throughout the community will benefit.

March: Book Bash – Read across America Week is celebrated during the month of March. The goal is to promote literacy and encourage a love of reading. Many schools celebrate by reading a variety of books, bringing in guest readers, and learning about different authors and illustrators. The Book Bash will be an event for educators to shop for a new book for their classrooms and any supplies they may need to restock for the remainder of the school year. Sponsorship dollars will go towards books, supplies, and refreshments for the event. Between 100 and 200 educators will be expected to attend.

May: Teacher Appreciation Week – Teacher Appreciation Week celebrates educators for the amazing work they do to instruct and inspire our children. This event will show our appreciation of our local educators by providing them with a time to unwind with refreshments, entertainment, and the opportunity to shop for year-end school supplies. Anticipated attendance is between 100 and 200 educators.

August/September: Back-to-School Kickoff – This fun, upbeat, one-day event in August/September gives local educators the opportunity to enjoy a treat, mingle with other teachers, and shop for supplies they need in their classrooms to start the school year. Sponsorship dollars will go toward school supplies and refreshments. Between 100 and 200 educators will be expected to attend the Back-to-School Kickoff.

November: American Education Week – American Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. Individual bags for educators will be prefilled with a variety of classroom supplies. Educators will receive a treat from a local business (think coffee or other goodie). The sponsor will help in determining the location and treat for the event.
