1. Eligibility: The American Education Week Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is open to all K-12 public and parochial school teachers who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, are residents of the United States, who teach in one of these eligible counties, Benton, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Cedar, Clayton, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Poweshiek, Scott, Tama, or Washington, and who comment on the designated Facebook post on time. Employees of the Teacher Store (the “Sponsor”) are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations. All taxes (including, without limitation, federal, state, provincial and local) on or connected with any prize, and the reporting consequences thereof, are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the respective winner(s). Void where prohibited.

2. Entry Period: The Monday, November 13 giveaway begins on November 13 at 9:00am Central Time, and ends on November 13, 2023, at 9:00pm Central Time. All entries must be submitted before the specified end time.

The Tuesday, November 14 giveaway begins on November 14 at 9:00am Central Time, and ends on November 14, 2023, at 9:00pm Central Time. All entries must be submitted before the specified end time.

The Wednesday, November 15 giveaway begins on November 15 at 9:00am Central Time, and ends on November 15, 2023, at 9:00pm Central Time. All entries must be submitted before the specified end time.

The Thursday, November 16 giveaway begins on November 16 at 9:00 AM Central Time, and ends on November 16, 2023, at 9:00 PM Central Time. All entries must be submitted before the specified end time.

The Friday, November 17 giveaway begins on November 17 at 9:00am Central Time, and ends on November 17, 2023, at 9:00pm Central Time. All entries must be submitted before the specified end time.

3. How to Enter and Odds: To enter, participants must comment their answer to the question on the designated Facebook post. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or undelivered entries. Only one entry per person is allowed per day. A participant is only allowed to win once throughout the Giveaway week. Additional entries of a winning participant after winning will be disqualified. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

4. Winner Selection and Notification: For the Monday, November 13 giveaway, a random drawing will be conducted on Tuesday, November 14, to select one (1) winner. The winner will be notified in the comments on the designated post and via direct message on Facebook, and must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize. The winner must show their teacher badge and ID when they are picking up their prize.

For the Tuesday, November 14 giveaway, a random drawing will be conducted on Wednesday, November 15, to select one (1) winner. The winner will be notified in the comments on the designated post and via direct message on Facebook, and must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize. The winner must show their teacher badge and ID when they are picking up their prize.

For the Wednesday, November 15 giveaway, a random drawing will be conducted on Thursday, November 16, to select one (1) winner. The winner will be notified in the comments on the designated post and via direct message on Facebook, and must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize. The winner must show their teacher badge and ID when they are picking up their prize.

For the Thursday, November 16 giveaway, a random drawing will be conducted on Friday, November 17, to select one (1) winner. The winner will be notified in the comments on the designated post and via direct message on Facebook, and must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize. The winner must show their teacher badge and ID when they are picking up their prize.

For the Friday, November 17 giveaway, a random drawing will be conducted on Monday, November 20, to select one (1) winner. The winner will be notified in the comments on the designated post and via direct message on Facebook, and must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize. The winner must show their teacher badge and ID when they are picking up their prize.

No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. The prize must be picked up from the Sponsor no later than 5:00pm Central Time on Wednesday, November 22 or prizes will be forfeited. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

6. Privacy: Any personal information collected during this giveaway will be used solely for the purpose of administering the giveaway and will not be shared with third parties.

7. General Terms: The Teacher Store reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions. The organization also reserves the right to cancel or modify the giveaway at any time without prior notice. The Teacher Store reserves the right to not award the furniture items if unforeseen circumstances or violations of these terms and conditions occur.

8. Limitations of Liability: The Sponsor expressly disclaims all responsibility or liability for loss, damages, injury or delay to property or persons due to any causes, including but not limited to, acts of God, nature, labor strikes, and terrorism occurring during the use of the prize awarded. The Sponsor makes no representations or warranties concerning the appearance, safety, or performance of any prize awarded. By entering this Giveaway and/or accepting a prize, participants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Teacher Store and its’ respective officers, employees, representatives, and agents, from any injuries, losses, liability, or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, or participation in this Giveaway. Under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, attorney’s fees or any right to have any damages multiplied or increased.

9. Release of Platform: This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. Participants release this social media platform from any responsibility or liability related to this giveaway.

10. Acceptance of Terms: By participating in this giveaway, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
